Osaka University North American Alumni Chicago Gathering was held in Chicago, IL.

Osaka University North American Alumni Chicago Gathering was held in Chicago, IL.
There were some Alumni members from Indiana, too! We had a good time and will continue having further activities.

June 26, 2009:
the 4th Osaka University North American Alumni Reunion at Cornell Club in NYC

The 4th Osaka University North American Alumni Reunion was held at Cornell Club in NYC on June 26, 2009.
31 Alumni members from different regions gathered together and many of them went on gNisjikaih (a second party) at a fine Japanese restaurant after the reunion. We aim to increase the numbers of members registered at GCN OSAKA: http://www.gcn-osaka.jp/alogin.html If you are a Alumniee and not a member yet, We encourage you to register.
The 5th Alumni Reunion will be held in Washington D.C, but we are planning to have smaller gatherings and activities.

December 16, 2008:
Washington DC Region Reunion Bounenkai Party

The Bounenkai (Year-End) party was held at President of Osaka University North American Alumni Association in Washington D.C. 16 Alumni members majored Medicine, Dentistry, Science, Economics, Science Technology, and Engineering in different ages gathered all together and had a very nice time over Japanese foods.

December 12, 2008:
NY Region Alumni Reunion Party

The party was held at Shinbashi (7E 48th St, New York, NY 10017) 11 Alumni members gathered together and had a good time to build Alumni network as well as to know each other more in NY Region.

October 18, 2008:
Alumni members in Washington DC/NY Regions gathered together at President of Osaka University North American Alumni Association

Alumni members in Washington DC/NY Regions gathered together at President of Osaka University North American Alumni Association at Mr. Yuki's house on October 18, 2008. They enjoyed home-made dinner and a good chatting to share their background and nice memories of Osaka University. Washington DC/ NY Region has been planning to have a holiday party coming up on December 12, 2008. All alumni members are welcome to join. September 18, 2008:
Osaka University& Former-Osaka University of Foreign Studies Alumni Gathering
hosted by President Kiyokazu Washida

After Osaka University-Tohoku University Joint Forum at Place Hotel, Alumni Gathering was held at the same hotel hosted by President Washida. There are 22 Alumi members participated in the party. Within an hour meeting, our further activities between Osaka University Northern American Alumni Association and Former Osaka University of Foreign Studies Alumni, which is a part of Osaka University now were discussed.

December 6, 2007: NY Region Alumni Party

The party was held at Shinbashi(7 E 48th St, New York, NY 10017). 14 graduates got together, shared their memories at Osaka University, and exchanged their information.

May 10, 2008: Osaka University North American Alumni Reunion

The third annual reunion was held at Hotel Kabuki (1625 Post St, San Francisco, CA 94115). 19 Alumni gathered together and some of them flew from the East coast such as Washington D.C. In the meeting, the next President, Mr. Tomohiro Yuki and board members were elected for 2009 and the report on 2007 Alumni Activities as well. Following it, the guest speaker, Mr. Yuji Ide, CEO/President, Pixera Corporation, Director, Kagoshima University Silicon Valley Office gave a special lecture “ Japanese International Education and Entrepreneurship: Story of Kanae Nagasawa, California’s First Immigrant from Satsuma”. All participants mingled easily, chatted and developed a network.
