World Academics - Insights From American Universities (Fall 2007)

<<Back to Main eLearning Page

With two semesters of running D-Learning classes, the SF Center has embarked on a new experiment offering Japanese students that chance to hear in-depth about American academia. With the aim of cross-cultural education and career building internationalization, this course is the first eLearning series to be conducted entirely in English.

Towards this, we have invited a cross-section of internationally experienced professors, researchers, graduate or doctorate students to give presentations. These speakers will draw from their wide range of expertise in subjects such as earthquake engineering, biomedical research, technical communication and sociology.
