New: “FrontierLab@OsakaU” "FrontierLab@OsakaU" is a program designed to nurture creative competencies in students by offering a wide range of potential research directions and emphasizing hands-on laboratory experience. It is specifically created for international students seeking a challenging, short-term upgrading of vital research and analytical skills. Applications from both undergraduate and graduate science and engineering majors/minors are welcome. Each participant in the Frontier Lab Program will be assigned to a particular research group in one of Osaka University's internationally renowned science and technology fields. Thematic studies will be conducted under the close supervision of the faculty, through experiments, peer consulting, group work and interactive discussions. Expanding Our International Roots As of May, 2005 Osaka University has signed exchange agreements
with 43 universities and 183 faculties, including mutual tuition
waiver agreements. The impact of this growing network can be seen
on Osaka University's campuses, where last year more than one thousand
students from 71 nations and regions studied. |
