"Bio-Environmental Chemistry"


The 8th Osaka University Forum organized by Global COE Program, Osaka University was held at Milton Marks Conference Center from December 8th (Mon) to 10th (Wed).

The 3rd MEI International Symposium Physiome and Systems Biology for Integrated Life Science and Predictive Medicine


The symposium was held at Hyatt Regency San Francisco, CA from November 30(Sun) to December 2nd (Tue).

Joint Forum Organized by Osaka University and Tohoku
University on "INNOVATIVE RESEARCH AND
PHILOSOPHY OF SCIENCE"

September 18, 2008

Joint forum organized by the oversea offices of Osaka University and Tohoku University were held at the Palace Hotel in downtown San Francisco, on September 18, 2008.

General English Language Program at UCSC

6 freshman students from School of Science participated in the Summer Intensive English program at ELI/UC Santa Cruz.
 
Technical English Language Program at UCSC and UW 2008

“English for Science and Technology” English Language Programs were held at both UCSC from August 18-September 12 and UW from August 22-September 18.

2008 Osaka University North American Alumni Reunion

The third annual reunion was held at Hotel Kabuki (1625 Post St, San Francisco, CA 94115) on May 10th, 2008. 19 Alumni gathered together and some of them flew from the East coast such as Washington D.C. All participants mingled easily, chatted and developed a network.

The 2nd JUNBA Summit, Symposium and Technology Fair
January 10-11, 2008
“The JUNBA Summit” was to discuss the strategy of international IAG collaborations by participating university representatives who are directly involved in this subject.
